CM: Milan slap €45m asking price on Chelsea, Man Utd target

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have set their asking price for striker Krzysztof Piatek amid links with three clubs, a report claims.

The Poland international arrived in Italy last summer and netted 22 goals in his debut season in Serie A, having joined Milan from Genoa half way through.

The 24-year-old has struggled for form this season though, but did score his first goal from open play this season off the bench against Lecce, and it is hoped that new head coach Stefano Pioli can get him back firing again.

Piatek has been linked with a number of clubs in recent weeks, including the likes of Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, Chelsea’s interest in the forward is genuine, however the starting asking price for Milan is €45m so as to record a profit on the balance sheet from his sale.
