AC Milan will be without Suso for Sunday’s crucial game against Lazio as the winger has picked up an injury, a report claims.
The Spaniard was dropped to the bench for the first time this season during Thursday night’s 1-0 win over SPAL, but he came off the bench to score the winner with a delightful free-kick.
A number of outlets predicted Suso to take his starting spot back from compatriot Samu Castillejo due to how sharp he looked coming off the bench.
According to Calciomercato.com though, Suso will miss the game due to a problem with his his, the same that tormented him last season.
It is a battle between Ante Rebic and Castillejo to replace the 25-year-old, but La Gazzetta dello Sport seem to believe it will be the latter who will start his second game in four days for the Rossoneri.
