CM: Musacchio disappointed by rumours claiming he will leave Milan

By Isak Möller -

Mateo Musacchio’s adventure at AC Milan is about to come to an end. Three years after signing the player from Villarreal, the Rossoneri are now leaning towards selling the Argentine defender.

Just two days ago, MilanNews.it reported that two clubs are interested in signing Musacchio this summer, namely Sevilla and Real Betis. The 29-year-old’s contract will expire next year and thus Milan want to cash in while they can.

According to Calciomercato.com, the defender is working hard on the training ground to convince Stefano Pioli and restore his starting spot. However, as the Rossoneri’s plans are heading in a different direction, it might be hard for him to succeed.

Furthermore, he was disappointed by the many rumours claiming he will leave this summer, as his first choice seemingly is to stay at the club. It remains to be seen what will happen in the coming months, although the departure seems certain.
