Napoli want to provide their new manager Gennaro Gattuso with more than one reinforcement. The priority, as per the latest reports, is to get a left-back and Ricardo Rodriguez seems to be at the top of their wish list.
According to Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo, the Partenopei’s sporting director had the first direct contact with the agent of the Swiss international yesterday. In other words, their interest in the former Wolfsburg man is concrete.
Napoli are indeed serious in their pursuit of Rodriguez, looking to beat the competition of Fenerbahce, who have emerged as a possibility in recent days. Per the report, Gattuso’s side want to bring in the player on loan with an option to buy in June.
