Stefano Pioli is still hoping to recover two key players for the game against Monza after yesterday’s bad news about Mike Maignan, a report claims.
The game against Monza on Saturday will be one with a bit of added meaning given it will mark the return of Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani to San Siro, but Maignan will not be there as he has suffered a new calf problem and is not expected to return for Milan until after the World Cup.

According to Calciomercato.com, Simon Kjaer did the entire training session with the rest of the squad yesterday and could make his return at the weekend, but he does not want to rush his recovery given the Champions League games against Dinamo Zagreb (for which Tomori will be suspended) and Red Bull Salzburg coming soon.
Charles De Ketelaere did individual work and the medical staff also do not want to rush the Belgian back, but the hope of seeing him at least in the squad for the Monza game persists. A segment off the bench could help him get rhythm back for the European games.
