Premier League side Southampton are ‘preparing an assault’ for AC Milan striker Andre Silva, according to a report.
Silva’s future with the Rossoneri remains the subject of intense speculation, with reports suggesting that manager Marco Giampaolo wants him sold to raise funds for the mercato.
The Portugal international almost made the move to Ligue 1 club Monaco last month, even leaving Milan’s preseason tour, however the deal broke down over financial disagreements.
Now though, there is a new potential suitor for Silva in the form of Southampton, who Calciomercato.com claim are preparing a bid.
Their report states that Silva ‘is on the Rossoneri shopping list’ as they look to continue overhauling their squad ahead of the new season.
Milan apparently value Silva at €25million, and that is the minimum price they would demand if they are to sell to former Porto man.
