CM: Rebic left out of squad for Juventus-Milan despite having no injury

By Isak Möller -

Ante Rebic has been left out of the squad for tonight’s big clash between AC Milan and Juventus at Allianz Stadium. The Croatian has struggled with injuries this season but that’s not the case this time out.

It’s not been a successful season for Rebic, having scored just three goals, and it seems he will leave the club in the summer. And in spite of his tendency to do well in Turin, he was left out of the squad for tonight’s game.

According to Daniele Longo, Stefano Pioli decided to leave Rebic out of the squad as a technical choice. In other words, the winger is not injured and could have been available tonight, but the manager chose not to bring him.

This is a pretty clear indication of the Rebic’s future, with a return to Germany looming. Wolfsburg have expressed their interest and it remains to be seen how much Milan will get for the player.

  1. Man Rebic was the man. I remember the 4-2 victory over Juve during covid. Juve up two goals and we came back in the second half. Rebic movements that day was sublime

    1. He had the best possible reaction to the Juve-fans mocking us when they still lead the game. Would be fan to see the full match again some day. Legendary. That was the Rebic we’ve been missing for 2 years.
