CM: Serie B side want to secure loan signing of Milan youngster tomorrow

After parting ways with Leo Duarte and Andrea Conti, Milan could say goodbye to yet another player. Just like Tommaso Pobega ahead of the season, Lorenzo Colombo could be sent out on loan.

The 18-year-old striker has made just four league appearances (91 minutes) for the Rossoneri this season and with Mario Mandzukic’s arrival, there isn’t much space. Therefore, a loan move is seemingly on the cards for him.

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Serie B side Cremonese are in pole position to sign Colombo on loan this transfer window. In fact, they want to close the deal tomorrow (Monday) and there could be more news on this front soon.

A wise move for Colombo, who was promoted to the first team ahead of this season. He scored against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League qualifiers but has since struggled to get the consistent playing time he needs. Hopefully, he will get it in Serie B.
