Colombo with a chance to shine against Milan – his stats with Lecce

By Isak Möller -

Lorenzo Colombo was sent out on loan to Lecce by AC Milan in the summer and the youngster will have the chance to shine this evening. At the age of 20, he has impressed in the top tier thus far.

Colombo has been on loan at Cremonese and SPAL, thus testing his wings in Serie B, but his first proper season in the first tier is ongoing. At Lecce, he has been able to get a decent amount of playing time and he has also impressed.

In 16 appearances, seven of them from start, the striker has found the back of the net five times and also assisted an additional two goals. In the last five games, he has scored three goals and assisted two, meaning he’s in great form.

Colombo will get the chance to shine against Milan this evening and the Rossoneri directors are obviously very happy with his progress thus far. However, it wouldn’t be ideal if he scores tonight.

  1. I think it would be ideal if he scores but Milan go on to win.
Really hope he can keep this form up, because the reality is he is our best chance of having a good young fit forward.
We certainly don’t have the money to buy one (unless redturd shell out 70m or so, money we could spend on other positions)

  2. Last season Pobega, this year Daniel Maldini; and now Colombo!
Why our management doesn’t put that damn clause in the loan contracts of our players, to prevent they play against their mother team! WHY!!!???
