CorSera: De Ketelaere’s time to shine as Milan prepare for crucial Napoli clash

By Isak Möller -

Stefano Pioli has decided to stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation for tonight’s game between Milan and Napoli in spite of Rafael Leao’s absence. As such, a lot of the responsibility in attack will shift to Charles De Ketelaere.

The Belgian has had a decent start to his Milan career, bagging one assist, and his ability to play up front has come in handy lately. However, the feeling is that he can do even better and the Rossoneri are waiting for the explosion.

As highlighted by Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), Leao’s absence has further increased the expectation on De Ketelaere as Milan need their attackers in great form tonight. Napoli are not an easy team to beat and they cannot afford to squander chances.

De Ketelaere arguably needs playing time to fully adapt to Milan’s style and thus patience is needed. But there is no doubt that he has a lot of quality, which we will hopefully see a bit of during tonight’s clash.

  1. Every match is his time to shine, give Adli the same opportunity, and I am sure he must have scored 3 goals….CDK disappears frequently in matches and that’s not what we need, especially in this match, this whole hype will not change anything, he will just show flashes of brilliance in a moment then disappear the whole match, it’s time we tried ADli in that AMF, he can’t be that bad not to have played more by now, especially when cdk and Diaz are below average

    1. Kossy back to being f**king stupid. CDK has not been below average, he’s hardly been at the club and you’re criticising him like he murdered your family. And for Diaz as much as I’m not usually a fan, when he’s not played game after game, he’s actually good, go watch cricket
