CorSera: Giroud’s contribution to the Milan locker room has been ‘excellent’

By Isak Möller -

Olivier Giroud will make his official debut for AC Milan this evening, just like Mike Maignan, as he will play from the first minute against Sampdoria. Replacing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he has a big task.

The Frenchman has started his adventure with the Rossoneri in the best way possible, not only leading the team on the pitch but also bagging three goals during pre-season. There is great optimism, therefore, that he will be a success this season.

As reported by today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), Giroud’s impact in the Rossoneri locker room has been ‘excellent’ thus far. This is the news that is filtering from Milan and it’s certainly easy to believe.

Hopefully, the No.9 will be able to break the curse and have a good season with the Rossoneri. If he can get on the scoresheet tonight, he will become the 15th Frenchman that has a score for Milan in Serie A.
