CorSera: Ibrahimovic at peace after knee surgery – recovery with less doubt

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is facing another tough challenge ahead of next season as he needs to recover from a knee surgery. The initial feelings are positive from the Milan environment, with the Sweded expected back in August.

Ibrahimovic was, without a doubt, a very important player for Millan this past season. However, he missed 50% of the game due to his injury struggles. At the end of the season, in the game against Juventus, he sustained a knee injury.

After the conservative therapy didn’t work as well as planned, the 39-year-old underwent surgery and cleaned his knee. As reported by Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic is now a lot more motivated despite the recovery times.

He wasn’t happy with the conservative therapy as little progress was made, leaving him anxious about the future. Now, though, he’s at peace and ready to start what will be an important recovery process for his career.
