GdS: PSG expected to complete signing of Donnarumma on Monday

By Isak Möller -

Gigio Donnarumma has said goodbye to his Milan teammates and is now preparing for his new challenge in France, set to join Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer. In fact, the deal should be completed in the coming days.

The No.99 and his agent, Mino Raiola, failed to reach an agreement with the Rossoneri on the renewal and thus decided to leave. The contract will expire at the end of this month and both parties have already move on.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Paris Saint-Germain are expected to close the signing of Donnarumma on Monday. The goalkeeper will have his medical tests after Italy’s clash with Wales, scheduled for tomorrow evening.

Milan, meanwhile, will have Mike Maignan between the sticks next season as they quickly secured the signing of the player from Lille. The Frenchman had a very good 2020/21 season and will be looking to impress this upcoming term as well.
