CorSera: Ibrahimovic will not decide his future with Milan before March

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play from the first minute in AC Milan’s game against Juventus tomorrow and he will obviously be a key player for the Rossoneri. At the age of 40, he continues to contribute a lot.

The career of the Swede is sensational in many ways and the fact that he still has what it takes to perform on the highest level says a lot. Having said that, though, we are most likely approaching the end of his long career.

According to today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic will not make any decision on his future before March. That’s when Sweden will take part in the play-offs for the World Cup in Qatar.

Should Sweden qualify, then he will want to take part in the competition (it will be played in November) and then a Milan renewal would also make sense. For now, though, he’s focused on breaking his goal drought at San Siro tomorrow.
