Rafael Leao picked up an injury in AC Milan’s clash against Lazio this past weekend and could thus miss the first leg against Inter. It would be a huge blow for the Rossoneri, who rely a lot on the winger.
According to today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera, as cited by MilanNews, the muscle injury is a minor one but it’s still unlikely that he will play on Wednesday. Milan have the return leg to think about and it might not be worth risking him.

The injury, as stated, is not very serious but there isn’t really much time to recover from it either. He could be on the bench as Milan will monitor his condition day by day, hour by hour, and the final decision will be made on gameday.
Plan B appears to be Alexis Saelemaekers, who came off the bench against Lazio and did well on the left flank. Ante Rebic is also an option, but he has struggled to perform on a consistent basis this season.

Draw in first game is good result, and we would still have chances.
In game against Spezia Pioli again must rotate full squad, and in six days after shitter, players have time to rest.
All this put Milan in difficult situation for next season to play in Europe, specially now Spezia is fight for survival, but if Leao come back in return game in champions league we might have chances to reach finals.
Europe next year is probable kiss goodbye.
Real Madrid knocked, Liverpool out in 2021, when Varane and Ramos, were injured.. I am confident, that we can cope in Leao’s absence! As long as defense, stay intact..
This is what you get if play full starter . I hope his injury not serious and he is ready on second leg. For match vs spezia dont play him
Pioli should go for draw.
If we can pull draw first leg, the we are good provided other players are intact.
Please not use rebic on that flank. Miater pioli must play formation like first half against lazio yesterday. Remember inter have lukaku, lautaro and dzeko. Little mistake they will punish you..
