Tijjani Reijnders has ended up at the top of Manchester City’s wish list and according to a report, a first offer should arrive from the English side as early as next week.

According to today’s edition of Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), Milan will have to part ways with at least one of their stars in the summer to make ends meet. Considering that Manchester City have expressed a very concrete interest, that someone could be Reijnders.

Pep Guardiola has put the Dutchman at the top of his wish list and as the newspaper continues, the English side should present the first official offer already next week. In short, they don’t want to waste any time and intend to give the Rossoneri notice well in advance of the window opening.

Milan paid €20m plus bonuses for Reijnders two years ago but now, a figure of at least €65m will be needed to convince them to part ways with the midfield star. It would result in an important capital gain which would help fund the signings, with many Italians on the radar.

On the other hand, the Rossoneri would lose a very important player of the team, similarly to when they sold Sandro Tonali to Newcastle. Given that Reijnders has expressed his desire to stay at Milan as well, evidenced by the recent renewal, a sale would surely upset the fans a lot.

  1. If the management sells him than we’re done! No player today is unsellable that’s true but any bid less than 100M Euro should be rejected! City have the money and Reijnders is one of them best in his role.

    1. Don’t have any memories stating a good performance of Tijani in a tough I repeat in a tough match, he disappeared completely off the radar

    2. This. If we sell him, we should sell him with a price that will make the other club suffer. We’re not here to donate players or make favors to them. Are the other clubs making giving discounts? Will we get Lucca for 20M€? Or Ricci for 20M€? F*** no! They’re going to make us suffer if we want them.

    3. I guarantee you if an offer close to 100mil comes, Furlani will drive Reijnders to Linate himself and put him on a jet.

  2. Reijnders needs a replacement so he can rest. He can’t play 55 matches at the top level either. Milan simply did not have a player who would give him a little rest. The same situation is with Pulisic and Lea. Leao has reached his maximum and we can see that he is not a champion, because he cannot solve a big match like the match with Bologna. In defense, it is necessary to sell Tomori and Thiaw and bring in two top stoppers, but the right back and problems with Theo remain. Therefore, an overhaul of the defense is needed. Midfield is the most important segment of a team: keep Reynders and Fofana and add two more strong players. I’m not sure it’s Ricci, because I watched him against Inter and I didn’t see anything good. So, 4 players in defense, 2 in the middle and substitutes for Pulisic and Leao. The sale of Reijnders could not be compensated in any way and if the club sells him, then we will know what the ambitions are. They will take 70 million from sales, but lose out on fan revenue. It would be a stupid move.
