Tuttosport: Milan expected to be without forward duo for next two games

By Oliver Fisher -

There is no good news to report regarding the condition of two AC Milan forwards that Stefano Pioli would have really wanted back ahead of a crucial week.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Ante Rebic and Divock Origi – who are struggling with a back problem and muscle strain respectively – will not be available for the Champions League against Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday night in what is a crucial game in the Rossoneri’s hopes of progressing.

The two forwards are also in strong doubt for the league match against Napoli scheduled for Sunday evening, when the suspended Rafael Leao will also be missing, which leaves Pioli short on options for that game.

Either on Thursday or on Friday it will be known with more certainty if they will be able to recover for the match against the Neapolitans, though the prospects of either being fit enough to start seems unlikely.

  1. Bla bla bla this guy is gonna destroy serie A and be our best scorer with 20+ goals some people said if things keep going like now hes gonna miss 20+ games this guy was in that Liverpool just because Kloop liked him a lot not because we was good if he was any good then Diogo Jota would not be ahead of him in the starting 11 right after getting signed!By next summer Maldini and Comp are gonna try to get rid of this flop!

    1. a) I don’t remember many people saying that
      b) Well he’s not going to prove that either way if he doesn’t play, is he? Haaland scores 0 in the games he misses with injuries. And Origi will probably really want to get game time before the WC so he’s no doubt as annoyed as the rest of us

Seeing as he’s apparently had muscle problems since the day he signed, does make me question the medical team a bit, but these things happen – not like Juve are getting mileage from Pogba either.

You have time to reply that child who is obviously on opium, let him keep ranting like a mad person.

Origi is just not being risked, last time we risked him, he went back injured so this time, Milan is being patient. He will come out good, I am sure of that, he has the characteristic to do well for us and , can only hope for good recovery.

I am worried more about rebic, this style of always lissing huge chunk of season is very tiring, we can not always keep waiting for rebic, if we can get noa lang to alternate leao then that Will be good, I am tired of rebic plastic body
