CorSera: Milan will wait until mid-July before making potential Dybala attempt

By Isak Möller -

Paulo Dybala has been linked with several clubs over the last 48 hours and AC Milan are one of them. However, the Rossoneri have no intention of rushing their pursuit of the Argentine, a report claims.

Dybala decided to not renew his contract with Juventus, which expired three days ago, and he’s now a free agent. A move to Inter has seemed more or less imminent for quite some time but things have changed lately.

According to Corriere Dello Sera (via MilanNews), Inter must make a few sales before closing the negotiations with Dybala and this invited other teams to probe the situation. Milan are watching on and the same can be said for Napoli.

However, as per the newspaper, Milan will wait until mid-July before making a move for Dybala. As things stand, the latter knows that Inter could soon come through with their offer (which is superior to what Milan can offer), but if that hasn’t happened by mid-July then anything can happen.

The Rossoneri, therefore, have decided to postpone their attempt until when they have the biggest chance of convincing Dybala.

  1. That might be too long. You said you wanna accelerate the signing for the time lost. And if they do, the attacking squad would be:

    LW leao
    CAM dybala
    RW berardi/ziyech
    CF cdk

    GGs

    1. Don’t worry, these are just stupid journalists inventing, 2 weeks ago there was another article that said Milan will wait 10 days before attempting to sign Dybala and guess what, nothing happened and as a matter of fact Maldini and Massara weren’t even renewed at that point. Journalists are just constantly inventing

  2. The biggest chance is to convince Dybala with a lower offer when Inter already might present their higher offer? Or only if they don’t make an offer? It doesn’t really make sense, so I am quite positive a news reporter made this up.

  3. If Milan is actually interested in Dybala and this is not just empty media speculation, their biggest selling point should be that he will be a starter.
Unless Inter sells Lautaro, there is no chance Dybala starts at Inter. He would basically be Alexis Sanches.
So besides the slight difference in money Dybala should decide if he wants to play regularly ( if healthy) or sit on the bench. With the world cup coming up in 4,5 months, if he has ambition to participate, than the decision is very easy
