CorSera: Recent meeting between Milan and midfield star’s agent was positive

Franck Kessie is one of Milan’s key players and it’s not exactly a surprise that he has attracted the interest of several other clubs. Not just for his performances but also his contractual situation, which the Rossoneri want to fix.

The midfielder’s current contract with the club will expire in 2022, meaning he will be able to sign a pre-agreement in January next year. Therefore, Milan have been working with his agent to reach an agreement on a renewal.

According to Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), positive signals have surfaced as the two parties met each other yesterday. The sporting director of Milan, Ricky Massara, was present at the meeting with Kessie’s agent, George Atangana.

The outcome of the encounter has been deemed positive not just by CorSera, but also by the majority of Italian media. Hopefully, the situation will be solved as soon as Kessie returns from the Olympics, or perhaps earlier.
