As Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie were forced to play many games this past season, without getting any rest, Milan are looking for a third-choice midfielder. One of their former players could make a return, a report claims.
According to today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews.it), taking stock of the Rossoneri’s market, the return of Tiemoue Bakayoko is a concrete possibility. Of course, he would be a good addition to the squad.
The French midfielder, who is pushing to return to Milanello, is considered one of Milan’s main targets in view of the transfer window. Chelsea have put it up for sale, but they don’t seem willing to make a discount on the price tag (around €20m).
It remains to be seen if the 25-year-old will reunite with some of his former Milan teammates. That being said, it’s clear that the Rossoneri need to sign a midfielder ahead of the upcoming season.
