Football agent Fali Ramadani tried to arrange a swap between AC Milan’s Ante Rebic and Fiorentina’s Luka Jovic but the deal did not get off of the ground, a report claims.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera (via Milan News), the agent of Luka Romero had a talk with Milan executives on Wednesday and part of the discussion was about Rebic.
The Croatian player is desperate to leave Milan and Turkey could well be his destination, but a plan was concocted that would have seen him head to Fiorentina and Serbian forward Jovic head to Milan.
This deal does not seem to have any legs, although it is not clear which of the four parties involved said no.
Milan are in need of a striker but they appear to be aiming for Alvaro Morata rather than Jovic. Rebic has already turned down an offer form Saudi Arabia and Besiktas are interested.
It’s Samu Casti and Yoko all over again.
Rebic still have 2 years contract. Disaster if he sit on bench until that contract expire.
Dodged a bullet there.
