CorSport: AC Milan could move for Chelsea midfielder in January

By Isak Möller -

As reported by Corriere Dello Sport, AC Milan have once again found themselves in a race for Cesc Fabregas, having chased the Spaniard several times before.

In fact, with the midfielder’s contract expiring next summer, Milan’s sporting director Leonardo could make an attempt already in January. It is believed that Leonardo has a very good relationship with the Chelsea management, signing Bakayoko from the Blues this summer.

In any case, the coming weeks will decide Fabregas future. Currently struggling with an injury, he has had limited playing time at the start of the season, and it’s uncertain if this will increase or not.

The 31-year-old could, therefore, become a concrete target for Milan, with manager Gattuso wanting a world-class midfielder. The Rossoneri could, as mentioned, make an attempt already in January. However, of course, landing Fabregas next summer shouldn’t be excluded.
