Just like Gigio Donnarumma, Hakan Calhanoglu could leave Milan at the end of this month. His contract will expire then and he’s yet to decide on the renewal offer the Rossoneri have presented to him.
According to today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan are still waiting on the response from the Turkish player. He’s hoping that the Euros will give him a boost on the market, perhaps resulting in new offers.
However, for the time being, the offer that Milan have presented is the only one. It’s worth €4m per year for five seasons, but Calhanoglu has asked for more in the negotiations. Either way, his response will arrive after the Euros.
In the meantime, the Rossoneri are looking for a potential replacement and their first choice is Rodrigo De Paul. The Argentine got nine goals and ten assists for Udinese this past season and would certainly be up for the job.
