CorSport: Faivre’s desire not enough as Milan transfer continues to fade

By Isak Möller -

Romain Faivre may have come close to joining AC Milan in the summer, but it doesn’t look like that will be the case in January. Even though the player wants to join the club, the desire seemingly isn’t mutual.

Recently, the Brest winger spoke in an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport about the interest of Milan. It was indeed a controversial interview and the rumours since haven’t exactly confirmed the words of Faivre.

According to Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), taking stock of Milan’s strategy for January, Faivre isn’t one of the priorities. In fact, he appears increasingly distant from the club despite his desire to make the move.

It remains to be seen how the saga will end but it’s clear that Faivre might have jumped the gun with his words. He was forced to backtrack a bit in another interview, suggesting that Milan have perhaps moved on after the failed summer attempt.

  1. Milan management is a joke, the RW needs upgrade since last season, still they saying they sign him!! This is beyond absurd, it down right retarded.

    1. I agree. Who the Fuck cares if the player makes it clear he wants to jon us? We need a RW, This guy is rally good….and cheap..no brainer. Other things are fucking excuses

    2. They are looking at all aspects of a player, off the field as well. Doesn’t seem a very loyal player giving interviews about leaving while under contract and no offer. Also doesn’t seem very smart as allegedly that was the reason his transfer was cancelled in the first place.
