After missing out on the latest Coppa Italia clash due to a suspension, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to be back from start tomorrow evening against Spezia. And for the AC Milan striker, there is another record on the table.
The Swede managed to get on the scoresheet against Venezia and thus became only the second player (along with Cristiano Ronaldo) to have scored against 80 different opponents. And tomorrow, he could overcome the Portuguese star.
This was highlighted by today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport (via SempreMilan), stating that there is another record on the table for Ibrahimovic. In addition to the aforementioned record, the striker also hasn’t scored at San Siro since September (vs. Lazio).
As said, Ibrahimovic should get the chance from start tomorrow as Olivier Giroud almost played the full 120 minutes against Genoa mid-week. The Frenchman bagged a wonderful header to save Milan, so he seems to be in good form.
