Rafael Leao has been a key player for AC Milan at the start of this season but it’s been a month since he last scored a goal. The winger, therefore, will be keen on finding the back of the net against Juventus tomorrow.
Leao’s last goal, as highlighted by Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), came in the 1-0 win against Hellas Verona. Since then, he has still been one of the best for Milan but a goal could be good for his confidence.
And with the No.10 on his back, as well as the highest salary in the team, Stefano Pioli can demand more from his star. Especially since the defenders are no longer doubling up on the winger, forced to focus a lot on Christian Pulisic on the right as well.
The next three games will be crucial for Milan and a Leao in great form would be a huge signal to the critics. Against Juventus, furthermore, he has found the back of the net just once (in 2020) and thus a goal would be important in many ways.
As said, Pulisic has been clinical in front of goal lately and the defenders can no longer focus just on Leao, which should benefit the latter.
Will max sit back and wait for counters?
If yes leao wont score
