AC Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis has a number of different dilemmas to deal with between now and the start of next season, a report claims.
Tuesday’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) highlights how the Rossoneri chief will have to address three critical situations in the coming weeks.
The first of these involves the accounts, which he will have to rearrange once everything returns to a sort of normalcy and will have to manage very delicate events given the economic impact that the COVID-19 pandemic will have on football.
Then there is the future of key figures such as Paolo Maldini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to address. Meetings are expected with both to define the plans for the future, but in the meantime Maldini has already started reiterating how much his name represents the club’s history in the media, while the Swede continues to post cryptic messages on Instagram.
Among all this, there is also a season finale to consider. Despite the constant leak of information, including Ralf Rangnick’s public statements and all other surrounding situations, Gazidis now has a chance to show why Elliott Management were so keen to entrust him with the running of the club.
