CorSport: Milan could offer Mandzukic six-month deal with option – reflections underway

By Isak Möller -

In addition to Soualiho Meite and Fikayo Tomori, the latter just one step away, Milan could bring in a striker that can give Zlatan Ibrahimovic some rest. Reflections are currently underway on Mario Mandzukic.

The Croatian was offered to the club earlier this week and Milan are currently evaluating the pros and cons of the deal, as reported by Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews). The hypothesis is certainly concrete, though, and not just an idea.

Milan want to bring in a player that could give a significant boost to the team and Mandzukic checks most of the box, having won almost everything in his career. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will, by the looks of it, soon make a decision.

The contract offer could be an initial six-month deal with an option to extend it for one more season. The striker seems eager to return to top football and it could be the signing that the Rossoneri have been waiting for.
