CorSport: Milan midfielder tells team-mates he wants Roma move despite Arsenal links

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura has reportedly informed his team-mates his preference regarding his next club.

Bonaventura joined the Rossoneri back in 2014 and has spent over half a decade with his boyhood club, but with his deal set to expire on June 30 and no signs of an imminent renewal, it appears his San Siro days are numbered.

A tactically flexible midfielder who offers experience and quality, it has been reportedly recently that there are several sides who are currently in the running to land the 30-year-old, namely Atalanta, Fiorentina, Roma, Lazio and even Arsenal.

According to the latest from il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) though, Jack has confided to some teammates that he would prefer to join Roma ahead of next season.

The paper adds that Atalanta and Torino are the two other teams that are seriously thinking about making a move, but at this point it is easy to give pole position to the Giallorossi club.
