CorSport: Probable Milan line-up vs Napoli – Calhanoglu back from the start, Ibra in

By Nikita Fesyukov -

AC Milan will face Napoli tomorrow in a key duel for Europa League qualification. In the case of a victory at the San Paolo, Stefano Pioli’s men would overcome the Partenopei in the Serie A table.

And to achieve this goal, Pioli is set to focus on a very similar line-up to the one that swept Juventus. With one exception: the return of Hakan Calhanoglu from the first minute.

The Rossoneri will line up with the 4-2-3-1 formation which has become the principal formation for coach Pioli. Gianluigi Donnarumma will start in goal, while Conti, Theo Hernandez will be on the flanks on the defence and Kjaer and Romagnoli in its centre.

In the midfield, it will be the usual Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer, who have been in fine form recently. Alexis Saelemaekers will play on the right win, Hakan Calhanoglu on the left, while Ante Rebic should play behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic in what will be a fluid 4-4-2 in the non-possession phase just as seen against Juventus.

Milan’s probable XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Conti, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Rebic, Calhanoglu; Ibrahimovic
