AC Milan will face Lazio on Tuesday and Stefano Pioli is expected to make a couple of changes to the starting XI. After the heavy defeat in the Supercoppa Italiana final against Inter, this was expected.
The Rossoneri struggled to impose themselves in the Supercoppa and will need a strong performance against Lazio to bounce back immediately. As per Corriere Dello Sport (see photo below), Pioli will make two changes to the XI.
Instead of Simon Kjaer, who struggled last time out, Pierre Kalulu will partner up with Fikayo Tomori in the heart of the defence. In addition, Alexis Saelemaekers will replace Junior Messias on the right-hand side.
The game is scheduled for Tuesday and that means Milan will have a few more days to prepare for the game. As said, it’s essential for them to get back to winning ways after four games without a win.
I just don’t get it why would he keep insisting on something that obviously since the beginning of the season is not working anymore .. Mastermind
Pioli should start Ante Rebic on the right side of e attack n bench sealemaker, Use De katelarre as a striker,to give giroud some rest, use Dest on the right side defense, Start Calabria on the left side of e defense, bring vaquez the young goal keeper to replace tata
I agree.
Madness to keep starting Giroud Diaz if they cannot show results. Diaz is Poli pet player?
Giroud is the top man ..He is the best striker anywhere ,he commands the 18 yard area ..
Deliver decent crosses into him and he will score goals .technically he is also very clever ,he knows where to be at the right time ,this is not luck ,but pure skill ..never write this man off ( never ) ..We are not doing to badly ..who would have expected Napoli to go on the run they have ..We are still second in the scuddeto.I believe we will finnish no lower than second ..tonight I expect to see some decent crosses go into the area tonight ,and I have great confidence in Giroud scoring .I expect us to win against lazio .
Let’s remain optimistic and not always critical.
We are AC Milan .
