Speaking to Sky Italia, as cited by SempreMilan.it, Milan legend Billy Costacurta shared his thoughts on the game tonight. He stated that there is a ‘huge difference’ between the two sides as Milan are anxious.
“There is a huge difference: Napoli are a wonderful, healthy and beautiful group. Milan, on the other hand, are struggling and qualification for next season’s Champions League is looking more and more difficult. And that makes a team anxious,” he stated.
Tonight’s game is not only important for the league standings, but also for the upcoming two encounters in the Champions League quarter-finals. Whoever wins tonight will clearly have a mental advantage ahead of the tie, even if those two games will be very different.
