Diogo Dalot had a very successful home debut for Milan earlier this week, bagging a goal and an assist to help the Rossoneri beat Sparta Praha 3-0. Although his goal was nice, the assist was absolutely gorgeous.
The Portuguese youngster, who started on the left-hand side, picked out his compatriot Rafael Leao in the box with an outside of the foot cross. A great piece of skill that turned out to be very effective.

In an interview with MilanTV, as cited by MilanNews.it, the Man Utd defender revealed the inspiration behind the cross and also said he often does it. Take a look at the assist in the video above.
“If you want an example of how I do crosses just look at Quaresma. He is the king of it, the way I do crosses, is something he has been training since I was little. I’m not as good as he is but every time I play on the left, I try to do it a couple of times because it helps me, as I use my favourite foot and I can be more precise.
“At that moment the ball was in the right position to be hit with the right. I had a couple of seconds to decide and Leao was in the right position,” he stated.
