GdS: Milan hatch plan to keep €25m Real Madrid loanee beyond this season

By Isak Möller -

Milan didn’t make any expensive signings this summer, excluding Sandro Tonali, but rather opted to make targeted investments in line with their project. Brahim Diaz was one of them, arriving from Real Madrid on a dry loan.

Of course, given how the Spaniard has performed thus far, the Rossoneri would like to exploit the possibility of signing him on a permanent basis. In seven games, four of them from start, Diaz has bagged three goals and impressed with his technique.

As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), Real Madrid have slapped a price tag of at least €25m on the player. Milan, meanwhile, could try to extend the loan and obviously make some changes to the salary.

The dialogue with Real Madrid and the player’s entourage is yet to begin, but the Milan directors seem keen on locking down the player. The relations between the two clubs are excellent but remains to be seen what the outcome will be.
