De Ketelaere confirms Milan debut awaits vs. Vicenza: “The coach told me”

Charles De Ketelaere has finally arrived and after less than a week of training with his new teammates, he will make his debut for AC Milan. This was confirmed by the player himself earlier today.

The Belgian playmaker, who had been linked with the Rossoneri for several weeks, completed his medical for the club on Tuesday. He joined the team immediately on Wednesday and the first indications are very positive.

During his presentation earlier today, which you can read in full here, De Ketelaere was asked about tomorrow’s friendly between Milan and Vicenza. He confirmed that he will make his debut for the Rossoneri.

“Yes, sure. I can’t wait to play a few minutes tomorrow in Vicenza. The coach told me I’ll play for a few minutes, I can’t wait,” he stated.

It remains to be seen where he will play on the pitch, but everything suggests that he will play as a No.10. Milan struggled a lot in that position this past season and they are hoping that this signing can bring them a lot of creativity.
