DefensaCentral: Milan propose Real Madrid swap deal involving Theo – the details

AC Milan are tempted to try and use Real Madrid’s interest in Theo Hernandez as a way to bring Brahim Diaz back to the club after his two seasons spent on loan.

As reported in Spain by Defensa Central, the Rossoneri are very keen on Brahim and may be willing to let Theo Hernandez leave the club if it is a favourable situation.

There has been plenty of interest in Hernandez from big clubs this summer, mainly Bayern Munich. The assumption was that Alphonso Davies would join Real Madrid and then the Bavarians would move for Hernandez as his replacement.

Davies could end up staying at Bayern Munich, so Real Madrid could look to bring Hernandez back to the Spanish capital.

This would present an opportunity to Milan as they could ask Real Madrid to pay a smaller transfer fee but involve Brahim in the deal, meaning Milan get a cash injection and a new attacking midfielder who has already impressed at Milan before.

The problem is that Real Madrid are very happy with the role that Brahim played last season and want to keep him as a rotational option and an impact substitute for the upcoming season. Therefore, the deal seems unlikely at this stage.

  1. Noooooooo

I know Brahim found pockets of form last year at Real, he was surprisingly good as an impact player off the bench.

But we can’t be in the business of lowering the overall quality of the squad by exchanging a world class player with someone who is several tiers lower (even with the added cash component)

Plus we don’t need AM/wingers otherwise we’d go for Chiesa
I’m hoping this is just another dodgy article not based on anything concrete

  2. So we’re essentially swapping a player who is a huge success for us, for a player who is inconsistent and has been largely a flop for us and on top of that in a position we don’t essentially need.

  3. Calm down.

Defensa central is Spanish based source and they arent credible.

Its more likely just click bait article that they spat out of their ass just because Brahim is our ex player.

  4. Not an enticing development. Hope somebody is not seriously contemplating this deal. If Theo leaves get somebody or the money to replace him with. Diaz is not an urgency right now, we need to plug the gaps before working on luxury deals…

  5. better not try that stunt.
When that is said I simply cant imagine that those at the hlm of the club are so idiotic to try this unless we get an additional 80-100 mil thrown in on top of it.

  6. This is hands down, the DUMBEST made up story I’ve ever heard… LMAO!!! Leaked by DenseCentral…

Milan would want to swap the best LB in the world for an average playmaker that was hugely inconsistent in his spell at Milan and needs a stellar cast around him to perform?

    EL OH EL!

  7. Smart milan management. Very wise and creative move. High wage theo exchange with italian league experience brahim.

    1. You should realize that this is just journalist click bait from unreliable sources and has nothing to do with Milan’s management. We will never exchange Theo for Diaz. That is complete nonsense, and just a baseless rumor.

Why do people confound these crazy rumors with Milan’s official management positions?

  8. If this report is true, it would simply confirm that milan is these days led by a bunch of stingy, stupid and incompetent clowns who do not even know what they want. The saga about Zirkzee shows they are completely at sea and that they are unable to take a decision. What is even worse is that they make milan look stupid and incompetent. HOW WE MISS THAT GREAT WONDERFUL MAN PAOLO MALDINI!!!!!

  9. Even if Maldini comes back, the media will continue making up these nonsense stories, and the idiot fans will keep criticizing the management for believing them.

  10. Milan are trying to become the most successfully useless team in the entire history.
What sort of rubbish is this. It’s why I hate American owner. They don’t understand anything in football just the useless physics of money. Just to satisfy their pockets.
