Tommaso Pobega, owned by Milan, spent last season on loan at Spezia and impressed everyone with his performances. So much that the talent factory Atalanta want to secure his services this summer.
Pobega, who will turn 22 later this month, scored six goals and assisted an additional three for Spezia this past season. He was a very important player for them, in other words, but he’s now ready for a bigger adventure.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Atalanta are in negotiations with Milan over the midfielder and they are very keen on the operation. That being said, they will have to satisfy the Rossoneri’s request of €12m to complete the transfer.
Live on Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, the journalist added that Milan are about to sell the midfielder to Atalanta. The negotiations are proceeding well and are indeed very concrete, meaning an agreement could perhaps be reached soon.
