Despite the complications in recent hours, Ismaël Bennacer has decided to join AC Milan, which was confirmed by Gianluca Di Marzio this evening during his show on Sky Italia.
A few days ago, the deal seemed as good as done. Then, the negotiations between the player and the Rossoneri suddenly slowed down, as a result of the agent requesting more commission from the San Siro side.
However, as reported by Di Marzio, Bennacer has already made up his mind: he only wants Milan, despite interest from several big European clubs. Tomorrow will be the decisive day, as only a few details need sorting, which Empoli’s president confirmed earlier today.
“Bennacer? Something’s missing between the agents and Milan, but I don’t think it’s anything big. I hope we can solve everything within the next 48 hours. For Bennacer, it’s a great opportunity, he would be foolish not to take it,” he stated.
