Some updates have arrived from today’s training session at Milanello including when Davide Calabria should rejoin the rest of the squad.
Gianluca Di Marzio starts by remarking that Charles De Ketelaere is close to being a new Atalanta player. The full closing of the deal is scheduled for today (August 7) or tomorrow (August 8).
The journalist adds that it will be a €3m loan fee that La Dea pay, while they will have an option to buy valid for next summer which will be set at €22m.
Meanwhile, the rest of the squad met at Milanello for morning training. De Ketelaere took part in the entire group session, as did Mattia Caldara, Marko Lazetic and Fode Ballo-Toure.
Captain Davide Calabria plus outgoing duo Divock Origi and Junior Messias trained on their own, and Di Marzio states that the full-back will return to the group from the 10th after disposing of muscle fatigue.
