Di Marzio: Giampaolo will use 4-3-2-1; Paqueta in midfield

By Isak Möller -

Throughout the day, there have been several conflicting reports on which formation Marco Giampaolo will use against Brescia tomorrow evening. Now, Gianluca Di Marzio believes that he has the answer, as published on his site

According to the Italian journalist, Giampaolo has decided to scrap the 4-3-1-2 system after the disappointing display against Udinese in the first round, which resulted in the first loss of the season.

Krzysztof Piatek could benefit from the change, Di Marzio points out, as he will act as the sole striker, while also receiving better service from Hakan Calhanoglu and Suso on the flanks. In addition to this, Paqueta will get the chance from start after coming on as a sub last time out.

As confirmed by AC Milan earlier this evening, there will be at least 50K at the San Siro tomorrow. The fans will get to witness the home debut of Ismael Bennacer and perhaps also Rafael Leao, in case the latter makes an appearance from the bench.

Likely AC Milan XI (4-3-2-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Kessie, Bennacer, Paquetà; Suso, Calhanoglu; Piatek.
