Giampaolo names 23-man squad for Brescia encounter

By Isak Möller -

After talking to the press earlier today, Giampaolo has also announced the squad for the clash with Brescia tomorrow (via ACMilan.com). The game will kick off at 18:00, just like the opening game against Udinese.

The Rossoneri will hope to get their season back on track after stumbling in the first round, losing by the odd goal away from home. Therefore, three points are a must tomorrow evening, as anything else would be a disastrous start to the season.

Goalkeepers: Donnarumma A., Donnarumma G., Reina, Soncin.

Defenders: Calabria, Conti, Duarte, Gabbia, Musacchio, Rodríguez, Romagnoli.

Midfielders: Bennacer, Bonaventura, Çalhanoğlu, Kessié, Krunić, Paquetá.

Forwards: Borini, Castillejo, Leão, Piątek, André Silva, Suso.

Reina returns after suffering from an injury, as pointed out by MilanNews.it. However, the Spaniard will not play from start unless Donnarumma gets injured, of course. According to Daniele Longo, Giampaolo could decide to make some changes.

According to Di Marzio, the manager has decided to scrap the 4-3-1-2 system in favour of the 4-3-2-1 formation, deploying Calhanoglu and Suso behind Piatek up front.

Likely AC Milan XI (4-3-2-1): Donnarumma, Calabria, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Kessie, Bennacer, Paquetà; Suso, Calhanoglu; Piatek.
