AC Milan are not interested in any of the three strikers that they have been linked with over the last few days, a report claims.
The Rossoneri are desperate to add a new centre-back during the upcoming January window given the current injury crisis, and while the likes of Ozan Kabak and Matteo Lovato continue to be linked, it appears Simakan is the most concrete track.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio on Twitter, Simakan is indeed the first choice target for Milan and in particular for technical director Paolo Maldini, more so than Ozan Kabak of Schalke.
Milan have also been linked with Luka Jovic of Real Madrid, Memphis Depay of Lyon and Gianluca Scamacca of Sassuolo as potential centre-forward options to cover for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
However, Di Marzio adds that all three are not targets for the Rossoneri despite the persistent links from various sources, or at least ‘as far as he knows’.
