Di Marzio: Rangnick’s lawyers continue Red Bull negotiations – Milan move not at risk

By Isak Möller -

Ralf Rangnick is just one step away from AC Milan. The German manager has been linked with the club for months but it seems the move could soon materialize. In fact, there is just one obstacle left, a report claims.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, as cited by MilanNews.it, there is no release clause or severance pay in Rangnick’s contract. That being said, Red Bull have requested €8m from the German manager in order to accept his departure.

Furthermore, Rangnick is making bonuses from Red Bull and thus his termination is really an economic issue between the two parties. Milan, meanwhile, are very calm as they have faith in the 62-year-old’s lawyers to achieve a happy conclusion.

The Rossoneri haven’t received Rangnick’s signature as he’s still under contract with Red Bull, but both parties are confident that this could take place soon. Of course, there is already an agreement ready, only missing the final step.
