After losing to Fiorentina, AC Milan will have to regain energy and bounce back with a strong performance against Tottenham on Wednesday. Away from home, the Rossoneri will need something special.
The Rossoneri lost their first game in four and also conceded the first goal, losing the cohesiveness that made them so successful in February. Against Tottenham on Wednesday, they will have to find their way back to that.
Speaking live on Sky Italia after the game, as cited by MilanNews, Gianluca Di Marzio stated that he believes Milan will find a way back to their positive form. However, he warned that Tottenham are a completely different side at home.
“Conte is better. At home, Tottenham are something else, Man City knows this well. It will have to be a very different Milan than the one we saw in Florence. The Rossoneri will have to find themselves, but I think they will get energy, stimuli, motivation, compactness and brilliance,” he stated.
Rafael Leao will be back for the game and potentially Brahim Diaz as well. It would be a huge boost for Stefano Pioli to have them both available, given that the Spaniard decided the first leg and has done well lately.
