Diaz discusses potential Real Madrid exit and Milan move: “I’m very happy here”

By Isak Möller -

Brahim Diaz was one of the goalscorers for AC Milan in the 2-0 win against Juventus last night. The Spaniard did really well on the right and this has, once again, put his future with the club in the spotlight.

The No.10 is currently in his second year of a two-year loan at Milan and the Rossoneri will have to opportunity to redeem him next summer. The fee is €22m and there is also a buy-back in favour of Real Madrid, one must remember.

Speaking to Sky Italia after the game last night, as cited by MilanNews, Diaz spoke about his future with the club. He stated that he’s very happy at the club but also made it clear that he’s focused on the present.

“I am very happy here at Milan. They love me, now I’m here and I want to do everything to help the team and make the fans happy.”

It remains to be seen if Milan will redeem him, but it’s clear that Diaz will need to continue like this in order for that to happen. Prior to yesterday’s game, not many would have considered the €22m buy-out option relevant.

  1. We should buy him in 2 conditions :
    1. He do well as RW like yesterday vs Juventus : Fast, dribbles fast, act fast. Leave the Playmaking-Style.

    2. Erase the 28M euros Buy-Back Clause for Real Madrid.

  2. Nah. He scores 1 goal per 5/6 matches an ghosts in others. Please NO. I like him for his goals but 22M for 4/5 odd goals. No thanks.

  3. I seriously think he should play as RW. Messias is old and won’t improve, while Alexis is a tactically different type of player.
CAM position will be CDK’s and Adli.
