Donadoni previews ‘beautiful’ Milan-Atalanta game and warns the Rossoneri

In two days, AC Milan will take on Atalanta in the penultimate game of this Serie A season. It’s a game that means a lot for both sides and that’s what will make it a great one, as stated by Roberto Donadoni.

Milan are currently two points ahead of their city rivals Inter and thus need four points from the remaining games to clinch the Scudetto. That is, of course, provided that the Nerazzurri win all of their remaining games.

Speaking to Corriere di Bergamo, as cited by MilanNews, former Milan and Atalanta player Donadoni was asked about the upcoming game. He stated that it will be a ‘beautiful’ game as both sides have something to play for.

“It will be beautiful. Milan are one step away from the Scudetto but Atalanta must qualify for Europe. Milan are playing at home but will have to be careful because Atalanta certainly aren’t easy opponents,” he stated.

Tension is rising in Milano and San Siro has been sold out for quite some time now, with loads of fans expected to arrive from abroad as well. In short, Milan will have the best support possible for the crucial clash.
