Donnarumma reached important milestone with AC Milan against Roma

Even though his side lost against Roma last night, there is at least one positive aspect that Donnarumma can take with him. As highlighted by MilanNews.it, the goalkeeper has reached an important milestone.

Donnarumma reached 150 appearances in Serie A yesterday, all of which have been with the Milan shirt, of course. Despite conceding two goals, he also put in a great performance against Roma, saving the Rossoneri on several occasions.

Four years ago, the youngster made his debut for the San Siro side in the 2-1 victory against Sassuolo. Since then, he has been a regular starter for the team, becoming one of the most important players in the squad.

However, at the start of this season, he hasn’t exactly been helped by his teammates. With just ten points after nine games, Pioli’s side are currently sitting in 12th place, far away from a top-four finish. Therefore, something special is needed.
