ESPN: Milan could keep loanee as Man Utd make decision on right-back situation

By Isak Möller -

In the last year, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have been working with a tight budget on the transfer window, though it hasn’t stopped them. Milan, in fact, are stronger now than ever thanks to targeted signings.

In addition to signing young players, that often are cheap, the Rossoneri made several loan operations last window. Sandro Tonali is an example, although his move includes a buy-out clause in favour of Milan.

Brahim Diaz and Diogo Dalot, though, were both brought in on dry loans, with Maldini hoping to negotiate permanent moves at the end of the season. As for the Man Utd loanee, this seems to be the case if the latest reports are true.

According to ESPN, the English side want to sign a right-back in 2021 to offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who hasn’t exactly impressed. In the event of this, they could allow Milan to sign Dalot on a permanent deal in the summer.
