Fabrizio Romano claims to be ‘90% sure’ what will happen regarding Ibra’s future at Milan

AC Milan are very confident that they will have Zlatan Ibrahimovic for at least another season, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Swede has 15 goals in 15 Serie A appearances and but for some unfortunate muscle injuries, he could very well have powered the team into a commanding lead at the top of the table. In short, he continues to prove the doubters wrong with his match-winning performances.

MilanNews reported earlier today that Ibra is moving towards a one-year renewal with Milan and ‘the announcement is really close’. The report adds how in a few days he will sign the contract, keeping the current salary with the inclusion of bonuses for objectives such as goals and appearances.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has given his take on the situation during his latest podcast Here We Go, which was released today, and it seems things are at an advanced stage.

“AC Milan are confident they will extend the contract with Ibrahimovic. I can say I am 90% sure he will extend with Milan,” he said (via R1F).
