AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli welcomed two midfielders back into the group today as the training retreat in Dubai got underway, a report claims.
As reported by MilanNews, Ismael Bennacer and Tiemouè Bakayoko joined the Rossoneri squad in Dubai and they trained with the rest of the team in this afternoon’s session.
Today is the first full day for the squad in the Middle East as they prepare for friendly games against Arsenal on the 13th and Liverpool on the 17th, before returning to Italy on the 20th. They also have a friendly against PSV Eindhoven on the 30th.
Meanwhile, MilanNews also report that Maignan did work with the goalkeeping coaches today. The goalkeeper did the first part of his session in the gym and then continued with his recovery programme, where no stage will be rushed as the calf is a delicate muscle and nothing can be left to chance.
